About Us

Origin Workshop was established in Norwich in 2022. We produce bespoke, handcrafted joinery and furniture with an emphasis on sustainability and longevity. From our fully equipped workshop in Earsham, we design and produce doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry, furniture and architectural features for clients in Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. With East Anglia boasting many thousands of listed buildings, we also undertake heritage work, both conservation and bespoke design and manufacture, in accordance with the legal obligations of listed building consent. We work with architects, project managers, building contractors and direct with clients to produce joinery whose function and design integrates with and enhances the unique aesthetic of the built space around it.

We believe that the objects which surround us in our homes should not only perform their given function, but also give us pleasure. Every piece of furniture which leaves our workshop is designed in partnership with our clients and made by hand — a unique object.
